Chapter 1: The beggining of a new era.

Daeva glanced at the three she was to lead today. Goddamnit, she'd planned on getting some actual training done today, not lead a bunch of amateurs around the ACG. She'd been hoping to work on one of the more advanced programs, maybe spar against her teammates. Now, because they couldn't exactly say no to Aru, they would all be stuck babysitting. Wonderful.

"Mmmm." Daeva hummed lightly to herself, keeping an eye on the three unremarkable newbies she was leading. Two boys and a girl. "I'm Daeva," she said suddenly, spinning around to face them. Her eyes were wild and her hair soared upward toward the sky. She grinned at their expressions. Fire elementals were, after all, not exactly common. Especially ones as beautiful as she.

"The three of us are from KN8", she offered. "We're another, more experienced team." She said the last few words with some bitterness, though she didn't have anything against them. She had really just planned on spending the day differently, so she knew she shouldn't take it out on the newbies. So she tried to turn it around; after all, they were part of the team now. It wouldn't do to be at odds with them down the road over something as inane as this. "You'll be facing some creatures here that will likely be a bit stronger than the people you've fought before, but no worries there. The best thing you can do is work as a team and figure out strategy. Not everything here is going to be the brute force of a tyrannosaur. Smaller creatures work in packs to take down their opponents and your best bet is to figure out their strategy and come up with one of your own before they rip out your throat!" With a grin, Daeva changed her legs to smoke and floated along quickly.

"So who are you three? And any questions so far?"

Raigarth didn't have taking care of new recruits in mind when he signed up in the Red Dawn team. Specially since he was way more comfortable at beating up or killing people rather than protecting or looking out for them. Then again, he did start like this at some point... though he didn't look nearly as weak as the three he was in charge of, but maybe they couldn't help it, they were all humans after all.

Without really looking at any of them, Raigarth started to walk off in the opposite direction of Mikal, after giving a few steps, he sighed. He wasn't too keen on talking, but it was better to give the new people some advice so he wouldn't have so much trouble taking care of them. "Stay alert, stay together, and stay away from my blade when I swing it." He said this in a gruff, raspy voice. So maybe his instructions weren't as detailed as most people, but they were simple, and easy to understand and follow, that is, if they expected to get out in one piece out of here. Save for losing some extra money and perhaps reputation, it was all the same for Raigarth.

Walking forward again, Raigarth then spoke again, but this time as if he was talking only to himself. "Team KR2 reporting."

"Understood, Everything checks in for your group, you are ready to go"

"Good" Raigarth replied, almost in a snarl. He just wanted to get this over with.

"Izelia Ishkar" She responded to the odd fire elemental in front of her with a rather cold voice. There was actually quite a few things she wanted to ask about this place and the training as a whole. Like, why the fuck where they fighting Dinosaurs? simulation or not, the idea didn't make much sense to her unless they were to be pitted with actual dinosaurs in tournaments. Then again, judging from Daeva's attitude, she figured she wouldn't receive a satisfactory answer.

Looking around a little, Izelia couldn't help feeling impressed by how real that place looked. She was certain that there was no way a place like this actually existed in reality, but it didn't mean she was about to let her guard down. if they had been assigned with more experienced people for this, it was probably because there was no second chance here. Not that she was complaining, making the danger real only made the whole challenge more satisfying. Staring at Daeva once again, she just limited herself to ask one question. "It's just hunt or become hunted, right? how many are we supposed to get before we can call it a day?"

Daeva smiled secretively. Apparently, they'd had about as much briefing from the ever-so-helpful Jaeger. God, but he was harsh on new recruits. At least at the beginning. "Hunt or be hunted, that's right," she said lazily, glancing sideways at the girl. Izelia Iskar...that sounded rather Egyptian to Daeva's ears. "It's dinosaurs, darling. What did you expect?" She raised a severed brow as though expecting a challenge from the girl.

"As for the other question..." She paused, bringing a finger to her lip in contemplation. "I don't think I should tell you. Inspires you to do your best on the hunt if you have no idea how many you have to get rid of, eh? So you'll find out on your own for that question."

Alex had surpressed the urge to jump up and argue with the tinman, Jaeger. Not wanting to embarrass Angela, or be kicked out by the team, Alex kept quiet. He didn't like being separated from Angela, certainly not in these circumstances, and the new tinman hadn't made things any better with his explanation. Alex would have to continue with his own team, hoping Angela's team would make it back.

Canbot, now reactivated, was happily whizzing round Alex' new team mates, Alex didn't bother stopping him just yet, there was no harm done in some hovering about. Meanwhile, Alex regarded his team mates thoughtfully, So I've got the child, not sure what it's like yet, the man with the robot, Clive? I think he's called Clive, he seems alright. Watching Clive ready his weapon, Alex figured doing the same would be best, he wasn't about to trust on a safe entry.
Unclipping his sword behind his back, Alex drew it from it's sheath and followed off after Mikal.

Tomi looked upon the four instructors, one of which the child had inserted its spear into. The fiery lady was certainly a sight to behold; it wasn't often that one would find a burning lady who was comfortable with the flames. The other two were very eye catching for the youth compared to Jaeger and Daeva. The man of liquid metal pointed the spear wielder, Clive, and the male who arrived with two females and told them their team name as well as their instructor.

If Jaeger hadn't pointed the child out, Tomi wouldn't have been able to realize that he was referring to them. Androgynous? It didn't have the slightly clue as to what that word meant. The youngster hoped that it meant something good; it wanted it to be good. Tomi would have to ask later when there's a time for idle chat.

Up close, Tomi found its instructor to be less 'cooler' than what it had thought. A cyborg peaked the child's interest before it carefully looked at it. Unlike Clive's robot or Tomi's own companion robot, William, Mikal looked menacing and held a face that chilled the child to its bones. It looked towards the silver furred werewolf for a second and silently wished to be instructed under him instead. Tomi wondered if Raigarth's fur was as soft and warm as it looked from afar. The child wouldn't know at the moment though.

After Mikal stepped through the door, Tomi looked up at Clive momentarily as if it was glad to be at least grouped up with him; the child believed that Clive was a good person for helping them earlier with William. Perhaps this experience would turn out well. The man with a large shield followed their instructor through the door and Tomi followed behind him, glad that the dark haired man was putting a distance between the child and the cyborg.

His group leader's speech not only confirmed Clive's ideas about the technology they were using, but also that the leader really couldn't care less about them. Scowling slightly, Clive wasn't very surprised about either of the things that were just confirmed, but that didn't mean he was happy about it.
He turned to gesture for Tech-4 to follow, but stopped when he saw another contestant's companion robot whirling around it, scanning and observing it. Knowing what the little child's robot looked like, Clive could tell that it belonged to the other member of his group, the one who was usually with the other two girls. Having asked Jeeves some quick questions last night, Clive knew the girls were Angela and Izelia, and that meant the other member of his group was Alex.
Wondering if other contestants asked their 'bots about himself, Clive raised an eyebrow at Alex because of his robot, but signaled for Tech-4 to follow closely anyways. The machine instantly rolled forward and closed its distance with the rest of the group to follow at Clive's heels, almost like a cat. The other robot quickly followed Tech-4 and almost seemed to whirl around it even faster. Clive bit back a sigh and continued traveling to the left with his group, his massive mess of a weapon at the ready.

Ryder studied th girl momentarily and then she tossed him what appeared to be a hunk of scrap metal. Ryder saw a on switch on the back. He pushed it on. With a quick beep the bird transformed into something might, something that would be feared by everybody. It was a legendary all mighty... pink birdy? Ryder sighed in realization that this was his bot. There must a mistake Ryder pleaded but was interrupted by a loud booming speaker. The announcement told him he was in a certain group and who his teammates were. Ryder did not recognize anyone yet for he had only encountered one girl.

Ryder tried to figure out where to go but had no luck. A voice then called out “Over there moron”. Ryder looked around the room but no one was close. “Down here” said the same scratchy high pitched voice. Ryder then looked in his arms. The bright pink bird was talking, trash talk at that. “Would you mind letting go?” asked the bird. “You, you talk!” said Ryder in amazement. “That’s right” said the bird mocking the tone of his new owner. “What else can you do” asked Ryder. “Well I can do this” screeched the bird as it flew up and scratched Ryder’s left shoulder. It then flew across the room with Ryder in pursuit. Ryder then realized the room was slightly different. It appeared he was in a prehistoric world. Ryder then looked ahead to see the bot was perched on a tree above a small group of people. It looked as if the bird had lead him where he needed to be.

Ryder listened to the conversation between a girl that was apparently a fire element and a girl with a tattoo down her arm. Ryder’s bot then let out beep and began to speak. “Wow those ears are the biggest things I have ever saw.” The bird then turned to the woman with the tattoos on her arm and spoke once more. He stared directly at her chest. “Wait never mind those are the biggest things I have ever saw” Ryder then scrambled and grabbed the bird before it could say anymore. But it was too late the damage had already been done. “Excuse my bot for his ignorance you have my sincerest apologies. My name is Ryder today is my first day for I was late. It is nice to meet you both. I only have one question can the dinosaurs hurt us?”

"It's alright, few people get bots that they can control instantly," Daeva nodded, remembering her own bot from her first year. It had been helpful when it had to be, but mostly ignored her. As sociable as she was, that just didn't do it for her. Eventually, she coaxed it into talking more. "Besides, that was a compliment he gave me." She very nearly couldn't help herself from reaching back and stroking the length of her ears. Hers were longer than many other fire elementals', a fact that she was rather proud about. It signified elegance.

"And what sort of fight would it be if you couldn't get hurt? Yes, they can most certainly hurt you. They can hurt you bad."

The child slowed it's pace to be bother farther away from Mikal and to be a little closer to Clive. It's curiosity was getting the better of them; it seemed to be a good time to ask a question now since they weren't in the middle of a battle at the moment. Tomi opened and closed it mouth at first, being hesitant as usual about starting a conversation. Once the youth gathered its wits, it spoke out in a soft voice directed towards Clive although it was loud enough for Mikal and Alex to hear them. "Question. What does andro-.. adrogyn-.. "

It seemed that the 12 year old's tongue was twisted trying to pronounce the word it didn't know the meaning to.

"Androgynous, pii~." William, who had been quiet per Tomi's request for several minutes, piped up to help its owner. The child exhaled sharply as if it was holding its breath in nervousness. ".. what does that mean?" Tomi kept its eyes on the two males in front of them and the path they seem to be following as it asked. It was silently hoping that the adjective in question was a positive one or a compliment of some sort.

Clive had not heard the child's soft voice as it spoke because he was concentrating, but its companion robot was loud enough to catch Clive's attention.

'Androgynous? Odd that the kid's never heard that before, it fits him to a T... if he really is a boy, of course. I'm even not sure anymore...' Not even taking a second to pause after being asked, Clive responded. "It means it is hard to tell if you are a boy or a girl." Clive gave as simple of an answer he could think of, wondering a little of where the child had come from if he had never heard it before. Clive knew he would've been teased about it if he looked like that as a kid.

Quickly shaking himself out of thinking of his past once again, Clive gripped his weapon a little tighter and continued to look around.

Tomi's mouth narrowed as it responded with a silent 'oh'. The child took a moment to digest this new information and held a distracted looked upon its face. It wasn't a compliment or a praise as Tomi had hoped for but it wasn't negative either. Tomi mentally repeated that it was a boy; that was all there was to it. The child introvertingly got bothered by the fact that they were even considering the possibility that Tomi could be a girl. It even wrote it down in the application when applying to Red Dawn. The distracted looked soon grew mildly angry as the thought grew louder. Soon those words violently slip through its mouth by accident. "I'm a boy!"

While confirming it's gender, Tomi frustratingly kicked a pebble in front of it which happened to hit one of Alex's leg unintentionally.

Lucan rolled his eyes at Ryder, "Idiot" Lucan spat under his breath, so that the red-haired boy couldn't hear him. Lucan had wanted to be grouped with the child, he had the potentional to be a useful tool to Lucan, alas, this was not the case. So Lucan watched his group, and Daeva, carefully, taking as much from them as he could in his viewings, and none but Izelia truly caught his eye. He looked her up and down every few moments, finding her aggrivatingly interesting to him, and so he decided to begin playing a game, a game which he would have to start slowly, with conversation. So he approached the woman slowly, making sure not to sneak up on her as he was prone to doing to others, he did not want to alienate her too quickly. Not untill he reached his goal.

"Hello, Izelia, I don't believe we've spoken." Lucan smiled slightly, not a terribely enthusiastic smile, nor a dishonest smile. His entire demeanor had somethign likeable about it, and it would mkae most people want to talk to him. Izelia, however, he wasn't sure was that sociable. "My name is Lucan, Alexander Lucan." The first name Lucan used was complete fabrication, but it did the trick, now he would wait for Izelia to respond before striking up an unintrusive conversation that he would hope to learn much from.

Wait, did they say dinosaurs a while ago? Oh hell...

Izelia shrugged at Daeva's response about her question. If they weren't meant to know, fine by her, it did make things more exciting if you didn't know when it was going to end. She also just sighed and ignored the comment made by the new guy's pink robot, as much as she hated those kind of comments about her, getting so many in such a few time was making her not care about it anymore for now.

She then noticed her other teammate. The cloaked man that she had seen in the cafeteria yesterday was nor approaching her though she had no idea what for.

"Hello, Izelia, I don't believe we've spoken."

Usually, she would have wondered why did he knew her name, but she did just say it a few moments ago to Daeva. Still, his face didn't reveal any sorts of intentions or real emotion, and it made Izelia wonder what did he want with with her. Hearing introduce himself, she decided to respond. "Well, I could introduce myself now, but seeing you already know my name, that's pointless. And you're right, we haven't spoken before, so why is now a special moment to do so?" Her response carried her usual blunt tone, and her eyebrows were slightly raised, but she wasn't forming the scowl she usually had when most strangers talked to her. He hadn't given a reason to, yet.

Something hit Alex' leg. It hadn't felt large, but it was enough to make Alex look around. He saw the pebble bounce over the ground a few times before coming to a standstill. He glanced backwards and saw the child's scowling expression. Halting only for a few moments, giving Clive and the child time to catch up with him a bit, he started walking next to Tomi, switching his sword from his right to his left hand so as not to create a barrier between them.
The conversation between Tomi and Clive had only just been loud enough to eeves drop in, seeing Tomi's expression and the pebble only made things clearer, Tomi did actually have emotions, and seemed to be frustrated about the fact people were confused about his gender. Alex reconned Tomi was just a bit shy, unwilling or undaring enough to open himself to strangers. Deciding he should get to know his team more, and hopefully make it clear to Tomi that he wasn't going to bite Tomi's head off, Alex opened his mouth.

" Hi, I'm Alex ", he said simply. Canbot had already taken to whizzing round Tomi's head.

After the little outburst, it seemed that the third member of their team turned his attention to them. The mild anger dissipated and soon the child wore its dull expression again. Alex slowed down and was soon walked next to Tomi, which didn't mind the addition company. The 12 year old found its head encircled by his companion bot; it seemed fun a first but soon Tomi tried to shoo it away as it became more of a distraction. "Hi, I'm Alex."

Tomi's gaze stayed in front of them rather than looking up to the other male but at least it responded to the greeting. "Tomi."

The child had questions to ask Alex about what the youngster observed yesterday but was unwilling to say anything; it felt like Tomi had spoken so much already compared to how the youth was living prior to joining Red Dawn. They had never been included in a group before nor had very many people ( and robots ) to speak with. It wasn't uncomfortable but it still felt awkward for Tomi.

Rathe looked around with a weary eye. This was not comfortable for him. He much preferred crowded cities and lots of people to....stretches of land. It was uncomfortable. Some people get claustrophobia, I guess I get the opposite. The fact that they were going to see dinosaurs was...interesting, he supposed, but nothing to really write home about.

The leader of the group, Rai-something-or-other, seemed like a good guy to have on their side. He seemed strong, aggressive, and potentially deadly. He certainly seemed more capable than metal man, who couldn't stop cracking jokes at their expense for anything. Rathe wondered why Rai was on another team instead of teaching...

The tiny robot that kept repeating "Hello" over and over and over and over did nothing for his nerves. Agitated, he poked it and turned to its owner. "Can't you get this thing to shut up? It's really obnoxious." His own little Screech was being oddly quiet, and he wasn't sure why.

Renault watched the screen intently, jotting down notes on a clipboard whenever he had a chance, before throwing a dark glance at Aru, it was then he spied the loose vent.

"Did your pet decide to visit the control room?" He asked blankly, causing Aru to glance at him in confusion.

"Wha?"

"The ventilation's grate is loose." He stated pointing while going to look at the screen again. "Let's start this already, they're wasting my time."

"Yes, sir." One of the technicians stated, typing furiously on the console, causing the predatory dinosaurs to start advancing from their position.

"Well, I could introduce myself now, but seeing you already know my name, that's pointless. And you're right, we haven't spoken before, so why is now a special moment to do so?"

Lucan smirked, "Because I don't believe that any other moment could have been any better." Still acting pleasantly, Lucan possesed an overall pleasant tone, but part of him, beneath the blanket of kindness, was very commanding. Lucan was a generally commanding person, usually able to convince anyone of anything without much words being spoken. His pleasant appearance and commanding person made him a very easy person to listen to, but Lucan was sure neither Izelia nor any of the others would be oh so easy to influence. That didn't matter now, though, Lucan wanted to focus on the task at hand, and that was changing.

"If you want, I could leave and try again later" The phrase was meant as a joke, but depending on how she replied Lucan was prepared to respond in any manner, almost nothing could catch Lucan off guard. He had even prepared himself for the odd chance that Izelia was about to transform into a Velocioraptor and jump at him, he would deal with this by at first ducking under her leap, and by then proceeding to throttle her. The only thing Lucan could think of that he wasn't prepared for were the slim-to-none odds that the girl, Izelia, was normal. He wouldn't know how to deal with that; Lucan doesn't associate with normal people. He usually just tells them to do things for him.

This should be amusing, immensely amusing.

Unless she actually is a Velocioraptor...

... Don't you dare bite me; Dino-bitch.


I hate lizards...

Izelia raised one eyebrow momentarily when Lucan replied. Something is off with this... His first response made it sound as if he had something significant enough to tell me.... but his second reply basically cancels the first one, if this was such a good moment to talk, why easily postpone it?... Eh, do I really care?. Izelia was at first rather intrigued further by his rather unique and uninformative responses... But then her usual self quickly took over and realized that she didn't care about what he had to say unless he actually said something of importance.

Shrugging, Izelia replied in an uninterested tone "I don't really care either way" She then turned away from him, walking towards Daeva's direction and realizing that striking any kind of conversation right now was rather stupid, since Izelia assumed that not even Daeva knew when or how the Dinosaurs would appear. And being caught off guard wasn't really something Izelia was looking forward to. Still, she decided to also stay at an earshot of distance from Lucan in case he actually had something important to say, if anything.

Vieth didn't exactly think that dino-hunting was going to be his best sport. Still, he decided he should soldier through it. It'll finally be a chance to sink my scythe into something. He thought to himself.

And why did Blue-balls pick me? Vieth pondered. There couldn't have been a good reason for that. Oh well, maybe I'll get to show off my magic again. I wonder if I'll ever learn how to access that full potential. Scythe at the ready, Vieth didn't bother with twirling it. He just studied the horizon waiting for the dinosaurs to attack.

Jaeger waited for the members of team KN8 to depart in different ways with their respective teams before making a move. He tried to figure out what lied ahead in each way the teams took as they faded from view, but he then remembered that it was futile. That geek Renault liked to make complex toys, and no doubt things like Dinosaur placement was different each time. Ah well, makes things less boring this way. Jaeger thought. Of course, things would be even less boring if he could let himself loose.... But that wouldn't be fun for his team at all.

Glancing at his team, Jaeger began to walk into another direction, motioning his team to follow. "C'mon, I'm sure you guys felt like taking a nap from waiting, but it's time to finally get a move on and hunt some beasties. I'll try to let you guys have fun, but stay close just in case... Specially you cutie, I'll keep ya safe." Jaeger winked at Angela, seeing the reaction in girls face when he did stuff like that always amused him, specially since it tended to vary greatly.

"A'ight, team K2 is re-""You're too late with this news metal boy. The Dinosaurs are already on their way."

"Oh! isn't that so? My, that elf really is an early timer. No wonder he doesn't get any girls, a shame too. It would do wonders for the poor fella."

"Whatever, stop distracting me and just do your job."

"Fine, GEEZ!" Jaeger turned once again to his team. "heads up fresh meat! seems they let the dogs out early, so be ready to play soon."

"Get it to shut up? I wonder..." Scooping the bouncing gray lump, he gave it a half-hearted glare "Would you shut up please? You are going to get us eaten by dinosaurs. I will be very mad at you if I am eaten."

"Shut up?!" It sounded appalled at the very idea and as such started repeating the phrase over and over.

"Mmm, as I thought" Rui said with a shrug, stuffing it into his pocket which pretty much muffled the bots persistant chanting. "Happy now?" He said with a yawn, poking Rathe back. They did cetainly seem to be a bit of an odd group. The other too hadn't really stood out on the first day so what they where like was a bit a mystery to Rui, And the team leader didn't seem say much either so it was hard to tell what he was like besides brisk.

The crowd was silent for what felt like eternity. Ryder looked around the prehistoric world that had been laid before him. Ryder heard a announcement and turned his attention to it quickly. “The dogs are out early eh?” mumbled Ryder as he removed a piece of cloth off the tip of his sword revealing a sparkling blade. “Pretty sword” snarled the bird that was perched in a near by tree. “To bad it won’t be any good to you against ankle biters.” Ryder glared at the bird. "Shut the hell up. I am nervous enough already without you criticizing me”! Ryder’s face was now the same color as his hair. He took in a deep breathe.


Ryder turned back to the rest of his group. He looked at the people who could be possibly saving his life in mere minutes. Ryder got goose bumps at the thought of the dark haired boy in battle. He appeared somewhat evil to Ryder. A thought then found it’s way into Ryder’s head. He only knew Daeva. The only reason he actually knew her was brief introduction a couple moments ago. Ryder thought the other girls name was Izzy or something like that. That left one unknown member. Ryder then took in another deep breathe. “My name is Ryder and this is my bot... uh Talon.” Sweat then began to form on Ryder’s brow. He was getting nervous. “That’s a real creative name” the bird snickered as the words spat out his mouth. “On a second note if the bird irritates you in any way feel free to smash him with your sword.” Ryder had to smirk at the thought of the bot getting crushed.

Ryder then turned towards the forest. “Are you guys ready to go and slash up some Dynos?”

Renault stared intently at the screen as the events started to play out before him. As old as a program as it was, and as much data as he had already gathered from previous training sessions in it, he couldn't help but feel that something new would happen. Some new data would present itself, somewhere in this exceedingly hodge-podge group, there was something new. And it excited Renault greatly, his eyes twinkling behind the lenses of his glasses, the stylus his hand at the ready to jot down notes on his screenpad. It was then that he observed the pack of Stokesosaurus heading towards Jaegers group, a dark grin twisting on his face.

"And so it begins. Split the screen, I wish to observe them all at once."

"Yes, sir."

Jaeger looked around slightly bored, yet still cautious. No mini tremors, that meant they were stuck with something smaller. Despite what people thought, with the exception of one very nasty large one, the small dinos were the meanest, toughest and craftiest sons of bitches here. He motioned for his team to stop.

"Why are we stopping? Don't we have to go out and find something to kill?" Arch asked eagerly, despite his eyes wandering about to take in the sights. Jaeger just laughed slightly to himself.

"Idiot, have you not noticed yet? We don't need to find the dinosaurs."

"What?"

"The hunts been on for a few minutes now. You see, they've found us. And since I'm just here to make sure you don't actually die, I'd say that makes you three the prey. I'll give you some tips, since you have such a lovely lady here that I would hate to see get torn up. There's two on the left, one behind us and 3 on the right. One is gonna branch off and try to bait you all, that's when they'll strike."

At this the group immediately tensed up, as a dark, deep roar let out from some bushes ahead of them, a fair sized Stokesosaurus, stepping into the clearing they were in.

Raigarth was walking along a river bank when he heard it. He immediately tensed up, his instincts kicking into full gear at the faint sound of the roar. He knew that roar, he knew it very well. It still haunted him slightly, it was, after all, the last thing he had heard in his first session here. His mind flashing back to that day, the program was still new, it wasn't known how the dinosaurs would act and their trainer had been busy fending off a Spinosaurus when the pack attacked from behind. Raigarth had been the only one to survive, the last visual was that of Aru picking him up. He grunted angrily, he had hoped to get some revenge again.

"It looks like you three have lucked out, one of the other teams got the pack, that means-" He was cut off by the mini tremor that shook them. The tremors were rapid, there were two, maybe three, somewhere very close by. "Prepare yourselves!" He ordered as he looked back at them, a Megalosaurus coming through the trees ahead of him and to the right, a second one close behind, the first letting out an earth shattering roar when it spotted them.


Daeva cheered up immensely. Today wouldn't be as terrible as she had thought. They wouldn't be stuck with anything too rough, meaning if this group was even semi competent, they'd finish quickly. She even started to be fine with the pointless banter they were engaging in, the one boy's bot being exceptionally annoying. She quickly spun around to face the team she was charged with looking over.

"I might have to take you up on the smashing offer." She stated happily, a constant smile on her face as she beamed at them. "Now, by the sounds of it, one team got the pack, so you guys lucked out. Oh hey look! We only have three to worry about!" She stated pointing at something behind them. Sure enough, in a clearing a couple hundred feet behind them were three Bahariasauruses."Well? What are you guys waiting for? Chop chop, those dino's won't kill themselves you know!"



"Fucking hell!" Mikal roared as he fought from being snatched up in the Spinosaurus's jaws. "It's supposed to fight you fucks not me! This is KN2, requesting the Spinosaurus attack behavior be altered immediately!"

"I'll work on it right now, give me a few moments." One of the techs responded, prompting Mikal to look back at his awestruck group.

"Oh come on! Sure its..ungh...big, but this is the...urgh..easiest...hnn...fight!" He called to them, forcing the dinosaur back. "So start...fighting! Umph!" He was sent careening back into a tree by the Spinosaurus's tail.



"Sir... Mikal has requested the Spinosaurus's attack behavior be changed." One of the techs stated turning to look at Renault expectantly, the man never allowed for changes except his own once a program stated.

"...Then what are you waiting for?" Renault spat in response, his eyes never leaving the screen, his hand constantly moving as it jotted down notes.

"I err....right. I'll get right on it sir." The tech replied, quickly getting back to typing, surprised at Renault's response.

Aru himself stared intently at the screen, completely silent, unnerving Shai slightly. Something seemed off, but he couldn't quite place what it was...

To make things quick, I'll take a page from Saint's book, everyone roll 5 times either in thread or via pm to me.

Clive smiled to himself on the inside, glad to see that annoying android being attacked by the the dino. In the few minutes they'd been in the same group, Clive could tell it found itself superior to them all. especially to Clive for how bulky and 'out-dated' Tech-4 looked. 'Time to show that ass what Tech-4 can really do.' "Tech-4, run procedure 12!" Was the quick command Clive gave to the robot before beginning the fight.

Angela jumped away from the dinosaur, clenching her teeth. "Oh you bastard!" she said while unsheathing her sword. "You're going to pay for this!" Cleo was bouncing on Angela's head. Kill it kill it!

Izelia cracked her knuckles as she saw the Dinosaurs approach. They were rather big, and she now realized that her nunchakus were probably not the best suited weapon to fight again Dinosaurs, but it was all she had. Besides, it would give her a different kind of opponent to train against... As long as no one else interfered.

Taking out her Nunchucks from her sweatpants, Izelia began to twirl them with both arms as she walked in front of the left-most Dinosaur, making sure to catch his attention. Before attacking, she shouted at the rest of the group. "This one's mine, so don't butt in, each of us can have fun with one of these." Her attacked announced, she rushed forward against the Bahariasaurus.
