The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Tomi Hayashi Sun Jan 25, 2009 2:33 pm

The child lifted its new treasure off of its head and combed its hair loosely with its fingers. It wasn't as neat as it was before, but at least it looked mildly acceptable now. Tomi replaced the hat, tilting it backwards a little so it wouldn't engulf its head like before, but as they did so the youth noticed that the giant piece of machine was left unattended. The slight smile on its face dissipated as it became slack jawed in awe.

Now that the robot was without its mechanic, Tomi felt drawn to the metal beast like a moth to a flame. Its gripped tightened visibly on the brim of the hat as the child shifted its gaze left and right to see where the blond mechanic went off to. Finding that the robot's owner was talking to the silver man.. thing in the front of the auditorium, Tomi slowly shuffled towards the machine without saying another word to the Count. It was clear that the child was too enticed by the large piece of machinery to stay in his company.

The Prologue - Page 2 Tomihatre9

As soon as it got close to the robot, Tomi raised a hand and started reaching toward the said item. It knew that it wasn't suppose to touch anything that wasn't theirs but the child reasoned that they were just having a look at it. They weren't going to break it by just taking a look, right? Its finger tips grazed the cold metal surface of the robot hesitantly before pressing its palm against it. The youngster could feel the vibrations coming from the constantly moving parts inside the beast. It almost made it smile again.

Tomi took its other hand and pressed it against the surface too; for a moment, it held them there without doing anything until the child glided them apart to see if it could wrap its arms around its entire width. To anyone in the room, it looked as though the child was hugging the robot when really the youth was just curious about this mechanical wonder. Tomi pressed its ear against the cold surface, which resulted in its new hat nearly falling off its head, and listened to the clicks and hum coming from inside...

"Ouch, such a sharp tongue for a water elemental. Here I thought I could slip that past you, but that theory didn't hold water, and you put me on ice." Clive stopped his barrage of puns, smirking. He always got a little full of himself when being witty with his puns, but that was because the robot couldn't speak and Clive didn't often get to show his skill at puns.

Speaking of the robot, almost with a sixth sense, Clive turned and saw the little child... hugging it? Clive blinked for a few seconds then shrugged, turning back to the 'water' elemental. The child didn't look like the type to steal anything, and there was nothing really good enough to take from Tech-4 anyways. Heck, that was the main reason Clive was here, to earn cash to continue working on the robot. Rather than worry about that, Clive wanted to hear the reaction from the elemental first.

Neil Bialystok wrote: "My name is Neil Bialystok."

Awestruck. Possibly dumbfounded with a hint of amusement. Or was it rather like satisfaction mixed with a pinch of surprise. He couldn't really tell. But whichever it was, it certainly was how he felt right now as this man greeted him before quickly shuffling off, muttering to himself in some foreign language.

Neil Bialystok eh? Seems you've done some research. I'll have to keep an eye on you.

He quickly shook off whatever feeling it was, resuming his blank stare at Jaeger and the robot man having a battle of the puns, something he could only assume was a cheap knockoff of a battle of the wits, and more anguishing to hear. He actually felt like he was losing braincells just hearing them go at it, his face contorted to match the mental pain he was feeling.

It was then he spied what he assumed was the final applicant, entering the room carrying a giant....something over his shoulder like it was just a feather. The man seemed amused by the antics of the group the had gathered. The man eventually took a seat near the front, setting around the robot to take a se-helllooooo.

Why is it, that I make silly faces I get no reaction but when the kid stumbles upon a robot it's like a field day for them?!

He glared at the kid a moment longer before surveying the group that had gathered.

1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10...huh smaller group than usual. Well...I suppose there's no reason to wait any longer, time to start the show....

Aru got up slowly before making his way to the kid slowly, placing his hand on the kid's shoulder.

"Best get back to your seat kiddo, the show's about to start." He whispered to it gravely, before grinning darkly, before giving the signal to Jaeger, a brief smile flashing across his pseudo serious face.

"Alright, now we can move along." Jaeger stated, the grin returning.

"Move along?" Clive asked, suddenly surprised by the change of pace, however it was all he got to ask or do as he was suddenly sent flying backwards into Tech-4. The tendril of liquid metal responsible quickly forming back into Jaeger's right arm. The commotion catching everyone's attention, as a suddenly silence fell upon the group. Aru glaring dangerously at Jaeger as he held Tomi under one arm, having had to pull the child away from the robot before Clive slammed into it.

"Alright! Listen up you vermin!" Jaeger barked out, "I'm sick of weak little shits always trying to join this prestigious team, so we're going to make this real simple like. You're all going to come at me one at a time. If ya hurt me, you're in. If not, get lost....cept you pretty ladies over there." A brief moment of his perversion shining through. Jaeger made his way around to the front of the terminal, before pointing at Clive. "Roboboy, you can start first, if you can still feel anything that is." Jaeger chided.

"Sorry bout that kid." Aru stated calmly, setting down Tomi and walking back to his seat. "And what if we refuse?" He asked aloud.

"Then you can get lost. We have no time for weaklings here."

"Alright, now we can move along." Jaeger stated, the grin returning.

This was... definitely not the reaction Clive expected from the elemental. Usually, they groan or yell at him, or even occasionally laugh, but people who ignored all those puns were never before encountered by Clive. "Move along?" Clive asked aloud. He opened his mouth to object about how the puns were ignored when he was sent sailing through the air towards Tech-4.

Tech-4 was fully warmed up and awaiting orders by the time of the punch, and detected Clive flying through the air towards itself. There was no soft spot on the robot for him to land on, but Tech-4 anticipated that and stuck its arms out at the proper angle to catch Clive after he bounced off its chassis. Unfortunately, it didn't go exactly as calculated and Clive bounded off the chassis more than the robot expected. It did manage to close its claw-like hands at the right time to catch the back of Clive's jumpsuit though.

The contact with Tech-4's chassis knocked the wind out of Clive and hurt, he couldn't lie about that. Thankfully, he was hearty from working in the scrapyard and able to recover quickly from the shock of the attack. Tech-4 only held on to him for a few seconds before releasing him, but Clive twisted like a cat and landed on all fours, glaring at the elemental.

'So then, he want's a fight? He's got one.' Clive thought angrily after hearing Jaeger's speech. He scrambled up on top of Tech-4, grabbing his giant mess of a weapon on the way up. "To the stage, Tech-4." He barked at the robot who instantly followed the order.

Once they rolled up onto the stage, Clive hopped off and addressed the robot once more. "Tech-4, enter mode 6." The robot quieted its whirring down and let loose a tuft of steam before Clive turned to the elemental. He turned his very large collection of junk so one of the sharpest bits was facing forwards. "You pack quite a punch for a so-called water elemental. Are you sure you're not just a liar?" Clive egged on his opponent while circling around him, seemingly having a death wish. Then, once Clive had made a half-circle around the elemental, he charged.

Jaeger turned to face the Clive as he charged at him, the... pile of junk he wielded as a weapon bouncing off him futilely like it was an inflatable toy. However, he was not expecting the attack from behind by Tech-4, who slammed into him as Clive dodged to the side. Jaeger slide forward a few feet from the attack, thoroughly surprised.

Clive attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 0 damage!
Tech-4 attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 3 damage!

"Heh, seems you pass roboboy. Alright. Now who's next..." Jaeger glanced around the room before getting a perverted smile, "You, pretty lady in the dress. You're up."

Clive smiled a little. His strategy worked, but he was also supposed to have been able to hurt the elemental in the head on attack. He'd have to work on the, but at least he was in. He turned back to the robot, snapped the weapon back into place, and hopped back on top of it."Tech-4, return to default mode and return to former position." The robot gave off another tuft of steam as it changed modes and rolled back to the spot it was at before with Clive sitting on top.

Once they were back next to the seat, Clive stayed atop Tech-4 to have a good view of the next fighters.

Angela looked up in shock, she had to go up already? Alright, I'm coming. she said. Turning towards Iz and Alex, smiling. Wish me luck!

She quickly walked towards her place, observing the metal man. The guy with the robot hadn't managed to hurt him at all, was she supposed to attack him with her sword? It would probably be like beating a rock with a toothpick. No, no, that wouldn't work. She had to damage him as much as she could and attacking wasn't her strongest point.
Angela looked around, would it be allowed...?
Instead of her sword she raised her hand and aimed at Jaeger.
Forceful Gale! she yelled.

"Urgh..." Jaeger let his arms fall to his side, "Who woulda though a pretty little vixen like you would be so mean to poor ol' me. I should take you back to my room for proper punishment!" Jaeger grinned at her, "But it'll have to wait. Your boyfriend seems upset. So he can go next." However it seemed Alex in a mild state of shock. "No...? Ok... hmm." Jaeger points at the little kid next to Aru, "Your turn."

Aru sighed, nudging the kid along, "Go teach him a lesson." Before giving the kid two thumbs up and a lopsided grin.

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Tomi Hayashi Sun Jan 25, 2009 5:56 pm

The child jumped a little upon feeling a hand on their shoulder. Immediately, Tomi looked up to find the man with large raven wings pulling them away from the robot. It didn't resist being taken away since but the dull expression on its face returned again. By what the man said, Tomi was being ushered back to its seat but before the child could take a step away from both the man and the mechanical beast, the winged leader effortlessly lifted the youth off the ground and held them there by one arm.

To say the least, it was somewhat embarrassing for Tomi to be held up like this but, again, the child didn't make a fuss. It held a steady emotionless expression on its face as the blond mechanic was sent flying into his machine. If one could look closely enough, they would see that the youngster had a slight tint of red on its face from being handles the way it is now; otherwise, it was more or less a lifeless doll in the arms of the man holding it.
The Prologue - Page 2 Tomipickedupug3

As the winged man made his announcement, Tomi kept quiet and stared directly in front of them. So they were to fight the one named Jaeger? To damage him would me that they were accepted into the team from what the child gathered. With all the focus directed to the man holding them, Tomi remained calm and collected, waiting to be let go.

Once they were released, the child scurried back to its seat and took hold of the spear they left behind. The bladed end of the spear seem to wobble in its hands but otherwise the child was still. First to attempt to attack the silver man.. thing was the mechanic who was thrown away only moments ago. He didn't seem to make a scratch but the robot dealt some damage. Next was one of the ladies who arrived with two others. She used some kind of art to attack Jaeger and was successful in her attempts. But now it was Tomi's turn and there was a sickening flop in its stomach upon hearing its name.

The youth approached the silver man.. thing slowly and held its spear tightly in its hands. It just stood there for a moment before an sudden rush of speed lead the bladed tip to be thrusted towards Jaeger. Such speed and force would not have been expected from a normal child; then again, Tomi wasn't brought up to be normal.

Tomi lunged at Jaeger, only to have a hole appear in his body where the spear was SUPPOSED to impale him.

"Haha nice try ki-" Before Jaeger could finish, Tomi quickly swung the spear from side to side, literally slicing Jaeger in two. "Huh?" Jaeger looked down in surprised in a moment of hangtime before his upper half fell backwards and burst into a pool of liquid upon impact with the ground.

Tomi attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 10 damage!

Jaegers lower half quickly dissolved into a pool of its own, the two merging as he reformed into a human.

"Ok so you got some skill, you're in ya little brat. Boyfriend, you still in a standing coma or you ready to face me like this kid just did?"

Alex stood up, "Pipe down, tinman. I'm coming."
He walked toward the stage, taking note of the child returning to it's place within the hall. Alex trudged up the steps, paced over the stage to face the metallic man and took his stance.
He reached behind his head, undid a clip and grasped the hilt of his sword.

With a long and sharp metallic noise, he unsheathed his sword, revealing to all the shear size of his weapon. It could be called a broadsword, for want of a better word. It was very broad and flat, it could be called a shield, but it was definatly sword-shaped.

Alex lifted his sword with both hands, hoped for the best, and charged at the metallic man, bringing his sword down in a slashing motion.

Alex Maud sent his large sword crashing down on Jaegers head. The effect was equivalent to striking a gong, a loud harsh metallic sound ringing throughout the auditorium.

Jaegers takes 0 damage!

"S'at all? You suck." Jaeger scoffed, forming his arm into a tendril again and smashing into Alex, sending him backwards off the stage.

Unhooking the scythe from his back as he stepped forward, an unmistakable smirk went across Vieth's face. He twirled the scythe in his hands, swinging it from one to another as he walked towards Jaeger. The scythe narrowly missed the chairs as he stalked towards Jaeger.

"Where am I going to strike, left or right?" as he passed the spinning scythe between his hands.

"Actually, neither." Vieth kept the scythe twirling in his left hand and raised his right. "Black Bolt," he muttered to himself. Even as his face was covered, his smirk widened as a burst of energy lept from his fingertips.

"Heh, that wasn't half bad..."

"Seems you guys aren't that weak...after all." A perverted grin suddenly sweeping his face. "I do love women that can put up a fight, you're up next hottie #2." He stated, pointing at Izelia. "Don't disappoint me~"

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Izelia Ishkar Sun Jan 25, 2009 10:20 pm

Izelia stopped twirling her nunchuks when she heard the loud conmotion that was done when the odd slivery man threw the blond guy at a big robot. At last some interesting stuff was going on. She was right, specially because it seemed that the real fun was going to start now that the silvery dude was telling them to attack him... however, she did NOT like what she heard when he continued:

If ya hurt me, you're in. If not, get lost....cept you pretty ladies over there." A brief moment of his perversion shining through.

Izelia began to boil with anger on the inside. Who the fuck did he think he was to judge them like that? Did he think she and Angela weren't strong enough to pass the test and that only her looks would save them? She glared at that sliver creep after that and kept doing so. Though she refrained of bursting... yet. She would show him, prove that she was as good or better than everyone else in there.

Watching in silence as both of her friends passed and tested their skills at the man, she couldn't help but cheer and feel good for her friend when he saw the creep show evident pain when Angela hit him with a spell. Though she also cringed when she heard his lewd comment at Angela. Making her turn even more red of anger. After Alex passed though, some of her anger faded as he saw Alex fly towards some seats next top her. Chuckling, she shouted at Alex "Way to take a hit, Guardian boy! You really make a good shield!" Even though laughing a bit, this was her way of complimenting him. She wasn't worried that he had hurt himself much, after all, she knew that Alex was indeed though.

She waited impatiently for her name to be called, she was itching to teach that sexist man a lesson, and she gritted her teeth every time someone else passed instead of her. Still, her time eventually came. Eager to hit the metal man, Izelia quickly arrived in front of Jaeger. But she decided to stay calm, after all, if she rushed her attack, she would only make a fool of herself and prove that creep right. Spinning her Nunchaku in an increasing speed, Izelia began to shift the weapon quickly between both hands, staring intently at Jaeger. She then quickly launched a swift diagonal rising strike at the metal-like man.

The diagonal strike hit home with a resounding THWANG that echoed in the auditorium. Izelia grinned confidently for a moment before seeing that Jaeger had infact caught her weapon between his arm and his side.

Izelia attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 1 damage!

"Well that was a let down...I was hoping you'd do a bit more than just dent me a tad." Jaeger stated, wiping the confident grin right off Izelia's face.

"Don't worry, we can still have fun in bed." He stated with a perverted smile.

Izelia flushed with anger as he released her nunchaku and turned his attention to Lucan.

"Oi, crazy man! You're up."

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Alex Sun Jan 25, 2009 10:54 pm

" Don't worry about it. " Alex told Angela, " It's just a cut, it'll heal. "
Alex' arm hurt, but he spoke only the truth as he wrapped his now torn sleeve around the wound. The metallic man had managed to wind him with his hit, but the most damage came from hitting the chairs, cutting his left arm. He sat up straight on his chair and drew attention to Izelia who stood up to try her luck against tinman.

Silently, Alex hoped Izelia would be able to take the tinman by surprise like Angela did, Alex was really happy Angela managed to hit the man well. He felt ashamed of his own attempt, but was glad his training had proven itself.
Alex watched in awe, hoping Ize would make it, as she launched her attack.

"Well that was a let down...I was hoping you'd do a bit more than just dent me a tad. Don't worry, we can still have fun in bed." was the only thing tinman had to say of the impact of Ize's attack.
Alex couldn't help stifling a laugh, but still felt bad for Ize.
" At least she's in with us! " Alex could tell Angela was happy.

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Izelia Ishkar Mon Jan 26, 2009 2:21 am

Izelia's face was boiling red with rage and frustration as she left the stage. She had been certain that her hit was gong to do so much more damage, and yet, it hardly fazed Jaeger. And he even had the nerve to make another outrageously lewd comment at her, it took a lot of willpower on her part to not turn back and strike him in the face again. But she knew this would only make things worse.

As she returned to her seat, Izelia completely ignore Alex's cheerful comment about how she was still there. This didn't make her happy. At all, as much as he hated to admit it, she performed worse than all of the other contestants so far. And this only proved sexist bastards like Jaeger right, and she hated it.

Slumping into the first chair she found. Izelia closed her eyes again. But this time not to try and focus or calm herself. She closed them out of shame, she had failed herself, and to all she had worked so hard to defend for her so far, and it was that stupid metal's man fault... and hers. She tried hard to hide it, but anyone that looked closely would be able to see that her face had a hint of sadness and shame in her.

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Vieth C'rran Mon Jan 26, 2009 2:50 am

As Vieth was stalking back to his spot on the wall (and hooking his scythe back against him), he couldn't resist a scowl. Pussy? I just nailed you. It's not my fault you didn't drop your defenses enough for me to swing. Perhaps next time I'll just swing instead of analyzing the situation first. Sides, it can't be for scaring children, that child with the spear wouldn't react at all if I drew it on him.

He turned around just in time to see the one called Neil charge. Vieth was quite impressed with his switch and how it threw metal man so off-guard.

Watching Izelia Ishkar go, he was quite saddened. He had expected her to land a much better blow on blue face, but considering he didn't get to do what he wanted he wasn't surprised. Metal man seemed really hard to pin down. Studying her face as she sat down, Vieth realized Izelia was downhearted. Standing up from leaning against the wall, he walked over as silently as possible till he was next to her left shoulder. Hood still up, he lightly touched her shoulder and said, quietly, with some cadence, "Don't feel badly, Izelia was it? Blue balls seems hard for everyone to pin down. No one's really gotten to do what they wanted so far."

Ah, this is rather exciting isn't? Everyone's gathered around the metal fellow. Ah, thats a bit confusing, The robot is made out of metal too. So the guy who looks like he is made of mercury then?

Truthfully it was also a tad alarming. What kind of test was this anyway? It seem rather biased toward certain types of fighters, didn't it? Rui looked at his weapon accusingly, as there wasn't anyone else he could blame. Still it would be... inconveiant to have to go home now, so backing down wasn't an option yet either.

Still, why must we croud?

Back down? No. Back up? Another matter entirely. Rui made a face as he and the cloth wrapped package move a few few away from the commotion. Odd he smiled It looks a little like he is the pinata, and we are all children at a birthday party hoping will get some candy. I suppose I can scratch this off the missed childhood experiences list he thought wrying

While he on the subject of missed childhood experience, he supposed he was participating in another one right now; that being standing in back and hoping the teacher doesn't pick you next.

Her eyes still closed and her mind wallowing in thoughts of failure and anger, Izelia never felt anyone coming close to her. So she couldn't help get startled and instinctively move her shoulder away when touched, specially when someone touched her left arm, she tried to avoid that as much as possible. Opening her eyes, she glared at who she was sure was either Angela or Alex, who by now should know better than to try to cheer her up. But instead, the hooded pale man with the scythe was standing in front of her.

As he finished talking, Izelia's startled expression was quickly replaced with a scoff, turning her face away. "Feh, whatever, I didn't attack him with the best I had anyway." Her tone sounded like one of indifference, but she couldn't hide a small blush from embarrassment. She wasn't used to getting kind words from people who wasn't her friend. Much less of a man like that, who had obviously done better than her, yet instead of gloating about it, there he was. Then again, he could be very well trying to score with her while she was feeling down, if so, it wouldn't work.

"Besides, I never asked for anyone's opinion, I don't need it." She snarled at the hooded man again rather more rudely this time. Her face stil turning away but now lifted up, trying to show confidence or arrogance. A small blushed tint was still on her face. This situation was quite uncomfortable for Ize, still she didn't feel as frustrated anymore. Not that she planned on letting it show.

Angela was glad that both of her friends had made it to the next round. This way they could hopefully stick together. She really hoped they could stay together.
She looked worried at Alex when he flew backwards, falling in the chairs and noticed that Izelia wasn't happy with her performance. Angela kept quiet, it was best to let Izelia alone when she was angry. Though when the dark man with the scythe tried to say something nice to Izelia, Angela got a bit angry that Izelia snapped back at him.
"Awww, come on Izzy. You did well. It's a guy made of metal after all. What would happen if you try to hit an iron wall? She shook her head. "Some guys try to be nice cause they are."

Alex remained quiet during Izelia's huff, but stared at the hooded man. He was intrigued, how could such a weapon and get up possibly be efficient for the purpose of fighting? Yet Alex had seen before him how the cloaked figure had easily changed his tactic and used a different technique, catching the tinman off guard.

All was quiet for a moment after Angela tried to mediate between Izelia and the cloaked figure. Without thinking Alex decided that even though Izelia might not like it, Angela was right, but that didn't mean that Alex was going to let Izelia and Angela have a fight about it, " Don't worry Ize, you two would make a fabulous couple. " He grinned while pointing toward the tinman, " You have my blessing. "
Alex wondered how long it would take Ize to return to her old self, dropping her silent feud with the two strangers, forgetting what Angela had said and try to murder him, either with words or a fist.

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Izelia Ishkar Mon Jan 26, 2009 2:53 pm

Izelia cringed when she heard Angela's voice. The last thing she wanted right now was her friends butting in on this. It only made things more uncomfortable. Specially since Angie always made Ize feel a tad guilty when she acted harshly. Though what she said didn't made her feel much better. If she faced an iron wall, she had to break it, that's how Izelia was. And her comment about guys stung even more. Angela should know better by now. Men had never been nice just because in the place she was born.

Izelia stood up from her place, facing Angela and ready to yell at her for bringing that subject. But then Alex butted in quickly, and made a lame joke about her and that stupid Metal man. She clenched her teeth. But she also realized the aim of the joke: Izelia's anger was getting out of control again, and Alex knew it. Scoffing, as she usually did, she simply walked towards Alex and gave her a hard smack in the back of his head. "Shut up, I don't need your blessing for anything, Guardog."

A bit more calm now. Izelia turned her face to the stranger with the scythe. Maybe she didn't appreciate it, but he didn't seem to mean any harm. Also, Izelia was now embarassed that he had to witness all that. So with a dry tone tipical of her, she adressed the man. Her arms crossed, "I can't seem to prevent people from bugging me, it seems. But, feh, if you already know my name, I might as well get yours."

The Prologue - Page 2 Empty Re: The Prologue

Post by Count Lucan Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:30 pm

Aru wrote:"Oi, crazy man! You're up."
However, when Jaeger called upon Lucan, he wasn't in his chair, nor did it appear that he was anywhere else in the audience. This would be because he was standing directly behind Jaeger, his chin almost resting on the steely man's shoulder, and he spoke in a cold and slightly annoyed tone. "I already am up you lewd, pompous, hunk of slag", Lucan sighed, he disapproved of his opponent, however he knew the man was far stronger then him; physically, anyway. "Oi, I suppose it's unwise to insult your superiors, so I guess I'll just get on with this brutish display of strength." Followed by another heavy sigh, Lucan pulled up the hood of his cloak over his head, covering his face almost completely, his mouth could still be seen, but barely. And then Lucan leapt backwards, covering surprising distance in one jump.

After covering himself and landing, everyone who was paying attention would take notice of just how large the cloak actually was, and it was rather large. Lowering his head to look at the floor, Lucan began humming an eerie and upsetting tune. He then stood completely and utterly still, humming away and creating a rather creepy atmosphere when mixed with the dark hooded cloak. Suddenly, the Count burst into a sprint, no sound coming from his foot steps, instead the only noise was created by the quiet sound of the cloak dragging on the ground.

Putting on a manic grin under his hood, Lucan launched himself off the ground at Jaeger, about to tear as much of him apart as he could, and try to scatter him around so it would be a large pain for the aggravating man to reform. "Let's get nice and friendly; it's time to have fun!" The man almost howled the words and his voice sounded out loud and rough, and for some reason placing a feeling of foreboding in anyone who listened. And yet he still whistled the eerie tune, even mid-jump he persisted in whistling, and even if deflected the whistling would continue, because Lucan would see no reason to stop.

Honestly, creeping out your opponent is a lot more enjoyable then it sounds, and the Count enjoyed this habit intensely, and was doing all he could to stop himself from cackling with glee and ruining the effect.

Lucan took a swing at Jaeger, impacting solid at first before it suddenly felt like he had tried to punch a bowl of jello.

Lucan attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 1 damage!

He quickly pulled his hand back, retreating slightly, hesitating for a moment as if debating whether to attack again or not before withdrawing.

"Well...that was unique...no weapons? Ah... hmm." Jaeger looked around, his interest in the crazy character already diminished. It was then he spotted Shai and the man she was sitting next to.

!!! Someone's trying to snoop in on my teritory!

"OI! You! Get over here!" He ordered, pointing at Rathe

Rathe had to say, he was impressed with metal man up at the front of the room. He just kept getting hit, and by people who looked mostly like decent fighters, and didn’t really show any signs of damage. Yeah, it was due to the chemical makeup of his body, but still. Impressive, to say the very least.

“OI! You! Get over here!” Rathe grinned. Excellent, he’d been wondering when it would be his turn. He stood up, walking away from Ce’Nedra and Wings and towards the trainer. He reached down wordlessly, unsheathing the twin swords from their place along his belt. Each was about the length of his forearms, an extension of his reach, and curved outward slightly. They were sturdy and their weight was familiar to Rathe. It had been too long since those blades had last been unsheathed.

Still grinning, he crossed the blades in an X, the top angled forward, and rushed toward the metal man, ready to slice outward with both blades.

Rathe attacks Jaeger!
Jaeger takes 0 damage!

Rathe blinked for a moment confused before gathering a confident grin. "Well hell, there goes the boss. Now what?" He asked turning around to look at the others, not noticing Jaeger reform behind him.

"Not dead yet buddy. Next! You, with the big wrapped up gift." He commanded pointing at Rui Li
